CCCRP Meeting and Training 10 September 2019

The Conroe Community Cemetery Restoration Project will hold its next meeting on 10 September 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the large meeting room of the Montgomery County Library in Conroe, 104 Interstate 45 N, Conroe, TX 77301. The first training for volunteers will occur at this meeting.

Agenda for the meeting is:

    1. Call to order
    2. Roll call – determination of quorum
    3. Approval of minutes from last meeting
    4. Treasurer report and approval
    5. Open issues
      1. Status of fence
      2. Timeline for cleaning
      3. Training and educating volunteers
      4. Possible grants
    6. New business
    7. Set next meeting date and location
    8. Adjournment

The first training for volunteers to help clean and restore this historic cemetery will occur at this meeting.  The burial practices of African Americans in the past were unique and special care needs to be practiced in the cleaning of the cemetery.
